Živojin Rakočević is the new President of the Managing Board of the Press Council
The President of the Association of Journalists of Serbia, Živojin Rakočević, is the new President of the Board of the Managing Board of the Press Council. He replaced the president of the Independent Association of Journalists of Serbia, Željko Bodrožić, whose mandate has expired.
The Managing Board elected the President of Local Press, Marija Obrenović, as Deputy President.
The two will serve in these roles for the next two years.
The Managing Board of the Press Council has five members, four of whom are representatives of the founding organizations of this self-regulatory body – the Media Association, the Association of Journalists of Serbia, the Independent Association of Journalists of Serbia and Local Press, while the fifth member is also a representative of the Media Association.
