Media that are not members of the Association of Media and Local Press, and that intend to accept the full authority of the Council, submit a request to the Council’s Board of Directors. An authorized person of the media founder submits the proposal.
Print media publications on all platforms, news portals, and news agencies must cumulatively meet the following conditions to be able to submit a request:
they must have an imprint
– must have an editorial board of at least three members and a responsible editor
The Management Board of the Press Council decides on requests.
