Observe the Code when reporting the death of a child

The Press Council invites all colleagues to report on the case of the death of a girl from Zajecar with due care, respecting the Code of Journalists of Serbia, taking into account the privacy of the family and the dignity of the victim.

We remind once again that reporting based on unverified and discriminatory allegations is not in the public interest and contributes to the further collapse of the profession and distrust in the media.
